Marie qualified as a Person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist in 2007, and is a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). She has worked in a variety of general and specialist settings with a broad range of mental health issues, bereavement, life limiting conditions, trauma, domestic violence and abuse, as well as with people who just want to get more from life.
Marie is also a Senior Teaching Fellow on the Counselling and Psychotherapy Degrees at Warwick University where she been teaching for 15 years.
